Portable Digital Media Interface (PDMI) is a 2010 CEA standard designed to output 1080p60 video and 8-channel audio from portable device to entertainment systems like home A/V equipment. PDMI uses a 30 pin receptacle measuring 2.5mm by 22mm, supporting the following electrical interfaces:

• 2-lane DisplayPort v1.1a and 3.3 VBus power
• USB 3.0 backward-compatible with USB 2.0 and USB On-The-Go
• Analog stereo
• HDMI CEC for remote control
• High output power line from both host and portable device

BizLink is building a complete PDMI product line covering connectors, cables, dongles and adapters.

PDMI Connectors:
We will be offering PDMI board-mount receptacle and plug, as well as cable-mount plug in Q2 of 2011. These connectors complies with ANSI/CEA-2017-A.

PDMI Cables:
Our PDMI cables will feature PDMI to USB interface for sync and charge. USB 2.0 interface will be available around Q2 of 2011, and USB 3.0 interface will also be available in the near future to support future portable devices.







PDMI Dongles:
We are developing PDMI dongles to transmit video and audio signals to large screens displays. Currently in our roadmap are

• PDMI to HDMI for HDTV and other home entertainment connection
• PDMI to VGA for projector and legacy monitor connection
